Anthea was elected in 2003 and in May 2008 she became Vice Chairman of East Cambridgeshire District Council. Her Ward includes the villages of Dullingham, Stetchworth, Woodditton and Saxon Street. Anthea sits on the Planning Committee as Vice Chairman and is Lead Member on Affordable Housing. She is also Member Champion for the Historic Environment and Design and represents the Council at county level to promote 2012 Olympics-inspired cultural and sporting initiatives in East Cambridgeshire.
Anthea is actively involved in local community life and represents Dullingham on the Ellesmere Centre Board of Trustees. She runs a PR consultancy and is also co-director of a business consultancy. In her spare time she plays golf, enjoys gardening and painting.

Carl, along with councillor colleague Peter Cresswell, represents the Cheveley Ward, which covers Ashley, Cheveley, Kirtling & Upend and Woodditton Urban (Newmarket). Carl was elected to office in October 2005, whereupon he became the youngest ever person to serve on East Cambridgeshire District Council. Carl has been active within his local community from a very young age. He gained valuable experience serving on various local and national task forces as well as being a Parish Councillor.
Carl is currently Chairman of the South Neighbourhood Panel, a multi agency body that gives the public a greater opportunity to directly influence service delivery. He is also a member of the Community Services, Planning and Standards Committees. In addition, Carl is a member of the District Community Safety Partnership as well as representing the council on the County level Strategic Board.

The Haddenham Division includes the villages of Little Thetford, Stretham, Wentworth, Wilburton and Witchford. Bill is leading the campaign opposing the proposed new town between Stretham and Wilburton called 'Mereham'. He serves on the Environment and Community Scrutiny Committee, Adults and Communities PDG and Development and Control as well as the Education Appeals Panel. His other particular interests include the Cambridge Guided Bus and the Ely Southern by-pass plan.
He is Cambridge born and has lived in Wilburton and Ely for most of his life. He can trace his local roots back 300 years. After a career in the motor industry, Bill took early retirement in 2002 and is now a consultant to the motor trade and a director of a small local company.
