James Palmer has been selected as the Conservative Mayoral candidate for the combined authority area of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

James lives in Soham and has been Leader of East Cambridgeshire District Council since 2013 and a councillor for ten years. He formerly ran a dairy business and has a family background in farming.

350,000 more people in work

Between June and September this year unemployment fell by 37,000 and since last year 350,000 more people now have a full time job.
