Extra loan to get Cambridgeshire ice rink finished

In September 2016 South Cambs District Council, under Conservative administration, agreed to provide a £1.85 million loan to Cambridge Leisure and Ice Centre (CLIC) for a new rink by Newmarket Road's Park & Ride.

Meeting with Govia Thameslink Yields Positive First Steps

Lucy Frazer MP yesterday met with Chief Operating Officer of Govia Thameslink Railway, Nick Brown.  

Mr Brown agreed to help the MP pursue a satisfactory solution to the issue regarding the change of time to the first off peak service from Ely to Cambridge. 

Formation of a Fen Ditton & Fulbourn Branch

We are delighted to announce that at our Executive Council meeting on Wednesday 6 June, permission was granted for the formation of a Fen Ditton & Fulbourn Branch, which includes the villages of Fulbourn, Fen Ditton, Horningsea, Little & Great Wilbraham, Stow-cum-Quy and Six Mile Bottom.
