Lucy Frazer MP visits Ely Child Contact Centre

The Ely Child Contact Centre, based on Egremont Street, opens two Saturdays a month to facilitate contact between separated families. Lucy visited the centre during a contact session to meet with volunteers and families who use the service. The contact centre is run by volunteers and provides a safe environment for children to have contact with estranged relatives.

Lucy Frazer MP visits Burrough Green Primary School

Today, Lucy Frazer visited Burrough Green Primary School.Following an open parish meeting in the summer, the headteacher Keith Archer invited Lucy to visit the school and meet with students. Lucy was shown around the school, met with staff and spoke to classes about her work as an MP.

Last week, Lucy was invited to meet students at Bottisham Community Primary School. After being shown around the school, Lucy met with the student council who asked questions about politics and life as an MP.

Lucy recently visited Scott Bradbury based in Fordham. Scott Bradbury make and sell management development learning resources for use online and in classrooms. The owners, Hugh and Catherine, showed Lucy around and discussed issues affecting local businesses.

Lucy recently met with County Council officials, councillors and parish councillors to discuss the Histon and Impington Flood Risk Management Scheme.

Lucy Frazer MP opens new research centre

NIAB's new Eastern AgriGate Research Hub, based at Hasse Fen in Soham, opened last week. The new research centre is a collaboration of local partners and will assist in reducing crop and food waste and improving resource use efficiency. The LEP provided funding for the project.
